Platu 25

International One-Design — 200+ Boats · Asia, Europe & Beyond

The Platu 25 is a high-performance one-design racing yacht designed by Farr Yacht Design for the Asian racing market and built by Beneteau / XSP Yachts. With over 200 boats racing across Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Europe, the class has established itself as one of the most active keelboat one-design programmes in the Asia-Pacific region.

The boat’s proportions — light displacement, powerful fractional rig, and planing potential — make it demanding and rewarding to sail. The Coronation Cup in Thailand is one of the class’s flagship events, drawing competitive entries from across the region. The Platu 25’s combination of Farr performance and accessible size has made it a natural choice for both experienced one-design racers and sailors stepping up from smaller classes.
