FARR 30 One Design
The Farr 30 One-Design — also known as the Mumm 30 through its original sponsorship — was one of the defining performance one-design classes of the 1990s. Over 200 boats were built, and the class established an international circuit that raced at major regattas including Key West Race Week and the Kiel Regatta.
The Farr 30’s success came from its combination of pure boatspeed, accessible performance for skilled amateurs, and a strong class association that maintained competitive standards. The boat bridged the gap between the larger Farr 40 circuit and entry-level Grand Prix racing, and its legacy continues with boats still actively raced in club and national fleets around the world.
