Southern Wind 96

The Southern Wind 96 “Liberty” was delivered in 2020, representing one of Farr Yacht Design’s most recent production superyacht programmes with Southern Wind Shipyard. At 96 feet, the SW96 sits in the core of Southern Wind’s production range, offering a refined balance between cruising capability and regatta performance.

The SW96 design reflects nearly two decades of accumulated knowledge from the Farr–Southern Wind partnership. Hull shapes, appendage design, and interior volume targets have been refined across multiple iterations as both partners have deepened their understanding of what performance cruising superyacht owners require. “Liberty” is a testament to that accumulated expertise.
